Welcome to the SRAB!
The SRAB’s mission is to provide opportunities for students to conduct research and scholarship across the college, to foster productive faculty-student collaborations in scholarship, to provide opportunities to learn about different forms of scholarship and presentation, and to provide public opportunities for students to share their work.
For 14 years, the Student Research Advisory Board at Lehman College has been sponsoring the Student Scholarly Work Conference as an opportunity for students to share their scholarly work, including research, art and performance, and other forms of scholarship in a college-wide public forum. Students are deeply involved in many aspects of scholarship on campus, including but not limited to consulting and constructing archives, developing and performing theater, dance, and music, creating art installations, conducting scientific laboratory research, social science and behavioral research, and other important work in science and the humanities in all of Lehman’s Schools. Students travel to local, regional, national, and international conferences to present their work and work collaboratively with faculty to publish peer-reviewed manuscripts and other public-facing scholarship.
Many thanks to all of the Lehman College faculty, staff, and administrators who include students in their scholarly work, as these collaborations are crucial to a robust and complete education, student success, and upward mobility.
**Please note that we are still in the process of constructing parts of our website but are happy to share where we are thus far. We look forward to having a more complete version in the next academic year.**
